Job summary

Genpak operates forklift equipment to efficiently move product within a Charlotte, NC warehouse, following OSHA requirements and SQF/GMP food safety standards. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, pulling orders with barcode scanners, and documenting movements for accuracy in Oracle.

Daily tasks include equipment inspections, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting warehouse management to meet throughput goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must operate PIT equipment per OSHA specifications and perform daily inspections.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and comply with GMP/SQF requirements.
• Accurately pull, label, and load product as per shipping orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts per OSHA requirements to distribute product per orders.
• Unload trailers and place product in correct warehouse locations.
• Take product from Sealing Line and store correctly.
• Complete trailer inspections and load sheets with barcode scanners.
• Document product movements and variances in Oracle.
• Assist with physical inventory and housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Support truck drivers with location, paperwork, and restrooms/vending areas.
• Maintain safe, organized aisles and adhere to daily department goals.
