Job summary

Performance Food Group in Cairo, GA is seeking a warehouse team member to move product using a forklift or pallet jack during receiving, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with receivers and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient product flow, accurate staging, and compliance with all policies. Prior warehouse experience and a forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and / or production work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 100 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
