Job summary

A. Duie Pyle invites aspiring Forklift Technician Apprentices to join a hands-on training program designed to build skills for a successful career in diesel maintenance. You will train alongside experienced technicians, receive mentorship, and gain real-world experience servicing Pyle's fleet.

Upon completion, you advance to a Diesel Technician role focusing on preventive maintenance and repairs. Join a company with a long history of service and a path that opens doors in the logistics industry,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Diesel Technology or a recent graduate.
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities in diesel maintenance.
• Ability to work all three shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.

As a Forklift Technician Apprentice, you will participate in a training program designed to build the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in diesel maintenance. Working alongside experience technicians. you will receive structured training, personalized mentorship, and hands-one experience service Pyle's fleet. Upon successful completion of the program, you will advance to a Diesel Technician role, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and performing necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspecting and replacing general components as required

Qualifications

• A recent graduate or active student currently enrolled in a post-secondary program of study in Diesel Technology and or are a recent graduate
• Your own a set of basic tools
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work all three shifts, as needed
