Job summary

Fraja & Vitan Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy‑duty material handling equipment across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in the field.

This role involves visiting customer sites daily, performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, and ensuring safety and uptime for our clients while benefiting from a sign-on bonus and a take-home service truck.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment (electric, propane, and diesel).
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a safety-first mindset on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the company truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime
• Hit the road to various customer sites—every day brings a different machine and a new challenge
• Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and up to solid operating standards
• Log your service work accurately and communicate clearly with the branch dispatch team
