Raymond Storage Concepts in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Forklift Shop Technician (Mechanical Repairs) to repair and maintain forklift equipment in our Cincinnati shop. This is a full-time, onsite role with Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, paying $23–$25/hour based on experience.

This is not a forklift driving job but a hands-on mechanical role where you’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of mechanical or technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus.
• Organized, dependable, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform repairs on forklifts and rental equipment.
• Complete work orders and document repairs.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment as needed.

This is NOT a forklift driving job.

This is a hands-on mechanical role where you’ll be repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment in our shop.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As a Forklift Shop Technician, you’ll work in our Cincinnati shop repairing and maintaining forklift equipment.

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Performing repairs on forklifts and rental equipment
• Completing work orders and documenting repairs
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting with loading/unloading equipment as needed
• Supporting general shop and building maintenance

This role is a great fit if you:

• Like mechanical work and problem solving
• Have experience with tools, engines, machines, or equipment
• Want to build a career as a technician or mechanic

This can be a more entry-level role, but you must have:

• Basic mechanical skills or experience
• Comfort working with tools and equipment
• Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
