Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a hands-on Forklift Shop Technician to repair and maintain forklift equipment in our shop.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform repairs on forklifts and rental equipment, document work orders, and keep the shop organized and safe.

This onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Pay is $23–$25/hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4-6 years of mechanical or technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus.
• Organized, dependable, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform repairs on forklifts and rental equipment.
• Complete work orders and document repairs.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment as needed.

This is NOT a forklift driving job.

This is a hands-on mechanical role where you’ll be repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment in our shop.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As a Forklift Shop Technician, you’ll work in our Cincinnati shop repairing and maintaining forklift equipment.

This Includes

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Performing repairs on forklifts and rental equipment
• Completing work orders and documenting repairs
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting with loading/unloading equipment as needed
• Supporting general shop and building maintenance

This Role Is a Great Fit If You

• Like mechanical work and problem solving
• Have experience with tools, engines, machines, or equipment
• Want to build a career as a technician or mechanic

This can be a more entry-level role, but you must have:

• Basic mechanical skills or experience
• Comfort working with tools and equipment
• Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
