Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a forklift operator for the shipping area to load pallets into frozen trailers and verify against inventory data. You will complete the Bill of Lading packet and support a secondary process by creating POs/D-notes as needed.

The role requires forklift certification, the ability to work safely, and strong attention to detail for pallets, temperatures, and documentation. You will also back up the Dock Scheduler and help hand palletize when the automated system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Forklift driving experience/certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load produced pallets into frozen trailers and verify against inventory.
• Complete Bill of Lading and related shipment documents.
• Maintain clean, organized shipping area per factory standards.
• Learn Dock Scheduler role as a backup.
• Inspect pallets and trailers for damage, temperature, and proper wrap.
• Determine loading patterns to meet CA state regulations.
