Job summary
Snelling Staffing DFW in Arlington, TX is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Forklift experience to join our warehouse team. The role supports daily shipping operations and serves as a backup to the Shipping Supervisor, requiring dependable forklift and shipping/receiving skills.
You will move and load materials with a forklift, process shipments, verify paperwork, and maintain organized warehouse areas while communicating with drivers and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience required.
- Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience required.
- Experience with shipping paperwork is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
- Willing to take initiative and work independently.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments.
- Verify orders, quantities, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Assist with receiving and inventory as needed.
- Maintain organized shipping and warehouse areas.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse employees, and other departments.
- Help coordinate daily shipping activities.
- Serve as backup for the Shipping Supervisor when needed.
- Assist with prioritizing shipments and keeping workflow on schedule.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
