Job summary

US Farathane is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure shipments are completed on time and in good condition according to customer demands. This role supports an automotive plastics manufacturing operation with a long track record of growth and a broad benefits package.

The position requires forklift experience and a focus on accuracy and safety, handling duties from loading and labeling to ASN transmission and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Hi-lo license required.
• Able to perform multiple tasks.
• Good mathematical ability.
• Forklift driving skills.
• Computer skills.
• FIFO comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Store/ship cartons in good condition.
• Prepare parts for shipment per schedule using FIFO.
• Transfer parts to shipment staging and ensure labeling.
• Load/unload trucks and operate fork lifts safely.
• Process shipments and confirm ASN accuracy.
• Verify quantities on incoming shipments and sign receipts.
• Maintain clean, organized docks and warehouse areas.
• Assist in training new Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
