Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Shipper’s to join our Corrugated facility in Mogadore, OH. The role includes operating a forklift to load products, performing pre-operating checks, and ensuring timely, defect-free loading onto trailers.

Shifts include rotating 1st/2nd or night shifts; candidates must be available for any shift. The job offers growth opportunities and a long-term career path within a Koch company. Benefits and vacation are provided after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience operating mobile equipment.
• Experience using a computer for basic record keeping and documentation functions.
• Experience with flatbed, rail car, or center-beam loading.

Responsibilities

• Conduct required pre-operating checks on forklift and equipment.
• Safely move products from warehouse and load on customer’s trailers.
• Ensure customer needs are met by operating a forklift to load product with zero defects in a timely manner.
• Consolidate and organize warehouse as needed.
• Keep all work areas free and clear of debris that could cause problems while loading.
• Perform tasks such as sitting, lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for extended periods of time.
