Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s OSB plant in Alcolu, South Carolina, is seeking a Shipper on second shift (2:00pm–10:00pm). You will operate forklifts, load trailers, and ensure timely, defect-free shipments from a modern facility. This role requires pre-op forklift checks, inventory moves, and safe warehouse organization.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift.
• 1 year or more in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience operating mobile equipment.
• Experience using a computer for basic record keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct required pre-operating checks on forklift and equipment.
• Safely move products from warehouse and load on customer’s trailers, rail cars and center-beams.
• Load products with a forklift/clamp truck and ensure zero defects in a timely manner.
• Consolidate and organize warehouse as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris to prevent loading issues.
• Perform tasks requiring sitting, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
