Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Make & Ship Operator to coordinate and transfer finished goods from manufacturing to distribution. You will safely operate a forklift/reach truck to move and store materials and receive pallets from the filling department for transfer to the distribution warehouse or staging for outgoing trucks.

You will begin by completing the safety checklist for power industrial vehicles and use a scan gun to direct movements.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Forklift experience preferred; training available for certification.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Lifts up to 75 lbs repeatedly with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transfer finished goods from manufacturing to distribution.
• Safely operate forklift/reach truck to move and store materials.
• Receive pallets from filling, transfer to distribution or staging areas.
• Perform safety checklist for power industrial vehicles (PIV).
• Use scan gun to direct and coordinate moving goods to truck or staging areas.
• Create the Bill of Lading (BOL).
• May assist in Receiving Department as needed.
• Keep workstations, dock, and staging areas safe and clean.
