Job summary

Behr Paint Company in Heath, Ohio is seeking a Receiving Operator to coordinate receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials for the production lines. You will operate reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck, unload deliveries, and stage or store materials as needed.

You’ll perform cycle counts with a scan gun or tablet, assist Filling and Milling with material pulls, and maintain a clean, safe dock area. The role emphasizes safety and basic computer systems, with SAP experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Forklift training/certification willingness accepted.
• SAP familiarity is a plus.
• Comfort with basic computer systems.
• Commitment to safety in all dock and material handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries by completing the appropriate paperwork and unload the truck.
• Stage or store materials for production in the facility.
• Pull and stage materials for Filling and Milling departments as needed for production.
• Complete scheduled cycle counts using a scan gun or tablet to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dock area throughout the shift.
• Operate power industrial vehicles (PIV) such as reach trucks, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely.
