Job summary

Behr Paint Company in the United States is seeking a Make & Ship Operator to coordinate finished goods from manufacturing to distribution. You will safely operate a forklift or reach truck, receive pallets, and move goods to the distribution warehouse or staging for outgoing trucks.

The role requires a high school education; forklift training is provided if needed. SAP experience is a plus. You will also create Bills of Lading (BOL) and assist in Receiving while keeping work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Forklift training or certification available; training provided if needed.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Safety-focused with strong safety record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Receive pallets from the filling department and move finished goods to distribution or staging areas.
• Safely operate forklift or reach truck to move materials.
• Perform safety checklist for power industrial vehicles.
• Use a scan gun to direct movement and create the Bill of Lading (BOL).
• Assist in Receiving Department as needed.
• Keep workstations, staging and dock areas clean and safe.
