Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Make & Ship Operator in Roanoke, TX. The role involves coordinating the transfer of finished goods from manufacturing to distribution and safely operating forklifts to move materials to the distribution warehouse or staging areas.

You will perform safety checks on power industrial vehicles, use a scan gun for tracking, and prepare Bills of Lading. Some Receiving Department support may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• A completed High school education is required.
• Forklift experience is preferred but training and certification are provided.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• A dedication to safety is essential.
• Lifting paint cans or full cases up to 75 lbs several times daily.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transfer finished goods from manufacturing to distribution.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or reach truck to move and store materials.
• Receive pallets from the filling department and direct to distribution or staging areas.
• Create the Bill of Lading (BOL) and use a scan gun for tracking.
• Assist in Receiving Department as needed; keep workstations and dock areas safe and clean.
