Job summary
ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. The role emphasizes independent work, problem-solving, and delivering world-class service.
Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of experience with industrial equipment, a high school diploma, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills. Training opportunities and competitive pay are offered.
Qualifications
- Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain and electronic systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software and document service work.
- Maintain tools, bay, and inventory and provide excellent customer service.
