Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair services at customer locations in Indiana. You will diagnose forklifts, troubleshoot complex systems, and perform preventative maintenance while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
• Complete accurate service documentation
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally
