Job summary

HODGE is seeking a Service Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot material handling equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems. You will perform PMs, diagnostics, and on-site service at customer locations, while documenting service history and parts usage.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solv­ing skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly.
• Effective communication with customers and sales teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate service history documentation and inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and structural issues using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain battery charging stations and related equipment.
• Provide on-site maintenance and repair services at customer locations.
• Run computer-based diagnostics to identify issues and resolve equipment problems.
• Document work orders, service history, and parts used for tracking and reimbursement.
