Job summary
ProLift Toyota Material Handling in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose electric and internal combustion forklifts, troubleshoot systems, perform preventative maintenance, use diagnostic software, and document service activities while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical school education is preferred.
- Experience with diagnostic software is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
- Maintain bay, tools, and inventory
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally
