Vallen Distribution, Inc. in the United States is hiring a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping within a distribution center. You will read orders, manage stock, and operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with related warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Overtime and varying shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing or moving goods in a warehouse.
• Ability to read safety rules, work orders and manuals.
• Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with MS-Office and warehouse software
• Good math skills and ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages
• Ability to work in a team and stay self-motivated

Responsabilités

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders per schedules.
• Unloads, receives and stores incoming goods; checks for damage.
• Sorts, labels, moves, and stores goods by product codes.
• Counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
• Prepares, picks, packs and dispatches outgoing goods; uses pick sheets.
• Loads trucks for delivery and secures items for transport.
• Consolidates freight and verifies shipping methods.
• Enters data into stock records and responds to inquiries.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Assists in inventory maintenance and safety compliance.
