Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc is seeking a Forklift Operator to load and unload materials, assist in receiving, stocking and order fulfillment within a warehouse setting. You will follow procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ months of relevant experience, forklift certification (or ability to obtain), and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Overtime and shift rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and procedures.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within defined time frame.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, Cherry pickers) to load/unload and move goods.
• Completes equipment logs and forklift inspection forms at start and end of shifts.
• Unloads incoming materials, checks for damage, stores goods, and prepares shipments according to orders.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and adheres to safety regulations; may assist in stock replenishment and cycle counts.
