Job summary

Abacus Corporation in Gahanna, OH is seeking a Receiver (Stand-Up Reach & Sit-Down Forklift Operator) to join our warehouse team. You will receive, inspect, and stock inbound products while maintaining inventory accuracy, and you will operate stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.

The role requires unloading shipments, verifying quantities, and keeping the receiving area safe and organized per OSHA guidelines. Experience with WMS and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving/warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts required.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and inventory system experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive incoming shipments.
• Operate stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Verify shipment quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
• Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe receiving area.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
