Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs in Beech, OH, is seeking a dependable forklift operator to support receiving, storage, and shipping of materials. You will unload, stage, verify quantities, and ensure accurate documentation while following GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.

The role requires high school or GED, 1–2 years forklift/warehousing experience, and the ability to read shipping documents and perform basic math. OT may be required based on workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desirable, or 1–2 years successful forklift/warehousing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving documentation and weights/measures.
• Must demonstrate safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials and stage them in designated area(s).
• Load outgoing finished goods onto trucks or other transport.
• Verify shipments contain correct items, quantities, weights, and lots.
• Review carrier shipping docs for accuracy and sign/deliver to supervisor.
• Stage chemicals in quarantine and components to designated areas after QC release.
• Safeguard stored finished goods to prevent loss or damage.
• Transport pallets to/from production and to wrapper/shipping areas.
• Inspect pallets and return damaged ones to vendor; reuse intact pallets.
• Check quantities, cases, tags, and labels from production line.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and document results.
• Conduct regular internal audits of stored materials.
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to offsite storage.
• Observe GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.
