Job summary

Ascend Staffing is seeking three dependable individuals for the Finish Good Line Puller / Warehouse / Truck Loader position in Pacific Junction, IA. This role primarily involves operating a large AWD forklift, pulling finished products off the line, and managing inventory.

We offer weekly pay and a benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Shift is 1st Shift Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with 40 hours per week minimum and potential for full-time

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a large AWD forklift.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and movement.

Responsibilities

• Pull finished goods off the line and store properly in the correct area.
• Safely operate a large AWD forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.

Ascend Staffing is seeking three dependable individuals for the Finish Good Line Puller / Warehouse / Truck Loader position in Pacific Junction, IA. This role primarily involves operating a large AWD forklift, pulling finished products off the line, and managing inventory.

What We Offer

Weekly pay of $20.50 per hour

Training provided

Shift : 1st Shift Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Hours : 40 hours a week minimum, 10-hour days.

Full-Time Potential : Full-time positions may become available based on good attendance and a solid, safe work ethic during the first 90–120 days.

Core Responsibilities

Product Management : Pull finished goods products off the line and safely put them away in the appropriate storage area.

Equipment Operation : Safely operate a large AWD forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.

Logistics & Picking : Pick customer orders accurately and load/unload transport trucks.

Inventory & Maintenance : Assist with inventory management and complete routine housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling, and lifting.

Job Requirements & Working Conditions

Physical Demands : This is a physically challenging role that requires continuous movement, standing, bending, and heavy lifting throughout the shift. Candidates must be capable of handling rigorous physical labor daily.

Outdoor Environment : All positions are outdoors in all year-round weather conditions. Workers must provide their own clothing to layer up and down as needed. The facility is located on river bottom ground and handles soil and mulch packaging, so expect muddy, highly dusty, ice, and snow conditions.

PPE Requirements : This is a Safety First Always atmosphere. Workers must wear and supply their own safety-toe boots. Hard hats, reflective vests, foam-lined safety glasses, gloves, and other required PPE will be supplied by the facility.

Tobacco-Free Facility : This is a strictly tobacco-free facility. No smoking, no e-cigarettes, no vaping, no matches, no open flames, or ignition sources are allowed on site. No exceptions.

Break Structure : Workers have a mandatory 30-minute scheduled, off the clock lunch break in the middle of their shift. An on-site break room with microwaves and refrigerators is provided.

Screenings : Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen requirements.
