Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Forklift and Palletizer Operator in Hendersonville, NC to operate the palletizer and forklift on the assigned line in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in a manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials.
• Maintain inventory and keep production area clean.
• Document and maintain inventory records.
• Set up and operate palletizer, stretch wrap machine and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to position machinery correctly.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Follow safety switches, interlocks and devices.
• Understand machine controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Monitor palletizer pattern formation and adjust as needed.
• Change rolls of stretch wrap and clear jams.
• Coordinate with line driver for correct pallet availability.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating the palletizer and understand the HMI.
• Adhere to SQF requirements and report food safety issues.
