The role requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work with automated systems. Responsibilities include setting up palletizers, operating forklifts, performing routine tooling adjustments, and ensuring safety devices are properly used.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials.
• Maintain inventory and keep production area clean.
• Document and maintain inventory records.
• Set up and operate palletizer, stretch wrap machine and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints/diagrams to position machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Follow safety switches, interlocks and devices.
• Operate all machine controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Monitor pattern forming of cases on the palletizer.
• Change rolls of stretch wrap.
• Clear jams, re-sequence palletizer, replace fallen cartons.
• Change codes in the tagger computer.
