Lassonde Pappas & Co. is hiring a Warehouse Lead/Forklift Operator for the Hendersonville, NC location. This full-time role manages the 2nd shift, coordinates loading/unloading, and directs the daily warehouse workflow to support production and customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and about 1 year of warehousing experience, with emphasis on safety, rotation, and efficient operations. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehousing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with multi-tasking ability.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the entire shift of the warehouse operation on day-to-day activities.
• Identify priorities for the day, cover for absences, and manage workload.
• Check in drivers and manage loading/unloading per FIFO and BOL.
• Maintain product rotation, tagging accuracy, and ensure food safety standards.
• Train new employees and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Coordinate with sales and warehouse supervisors on shortages and progress.
• Perform regular audits and maintain clean, safe working conditions.
