Job summary

Abacus Staffing is seeking Forklift Operators for a Whiteland, Indiana location. Roles include 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) at $20.50/hour and 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM) at $21.50/hour, with 5 openings per shift.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with training and onboarding on-site. Applicants must have forklift experience, read/write English, wear steel-toe shoes from day one, and be reliable with attendance and transportation.

1st Shift Forklift Operator

Monday - Thursday
5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
$20.50/hour
5 Openings Available

2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Monday - Thursday
3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
$21.50/hour
5 Openings Available

Position Requirements

• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Steel-toe shoes required on Day 1
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and transportation

Forklift Equipment Used

Associates must have experience with:

• Stand-Up Reach Truck
• Dock Stocker
• Cherry Picker

Training & Onboarding Expectations

• All new hires will begin in training mode and shadow experienced associates until fully trained and certified by a site trainer.
• This is a closed-campus facility. Associates may not leave the site during their shift, so please plan accordingly.
• Attendance on the first day is critical. If you are unable to start on your scheduled Monday, you will not be eligible to start later that week and must wait until the following Monday's training class.
