Job summary

Abacus Staffing is seeking Forklift Operators for a Whiteland, Indiana location. Roles include 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) at $20.50/hour and 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM) at $21.50/hour, with 5 openings per shift.

This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with training and onboarding on-site. Applicants must have forklift experience, read/write English, wear steel-toe shoes from day one, and be reliable with attendance and transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Steel-toe shoes required on Day 1.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Training and onboarding until certified by a site trainer.
• Closed-campus facility; associates may not leave the site during shift.
• Attendance on the first day is critical and may impact start date.
