Job summary

Abacus Staffing in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking skilled Forklift Operators for a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate various forklifts (Reach Truck, Order Picker, Electric Pallet Jack) and other material handling equipment to move goods efficiently.

RF scanners will be used for inventory control, with safety protocols followed at all times. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to shipping/receiving procedures, with a first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM and overtime

Qualifications

• 1 year forklift experience required.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types either - Reach Truck, Order Picker, or Electric Pallet Jack, and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
