Abacus Staffing is seeking a safety-focused and reliable Forklift Operator to join our client site's team in Brownsburg, IN. This temp-to-hire role offers career growth within a world-class logistics organization.

The position runs on a weekend night shift (Fri-Sun, 12:00 AM - 12:30 PM) and provides weekly pay from a global logistics leader. Candidates must operate forklifts and support daily warehouse operations safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment required.
• Experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts required.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able read, write, and understand English.
• Resume required for consideration.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, store, and stage products while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to process inventory and shipment transactions.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
• Support receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, cycle counting, and inventory control activities.
• Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance expectations.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed to support operational requirements.

• Ability to work the assigned schedule, including overtime and holidays based on business needs.
• Must be able read, write, and understand English.
