Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Warehouse IV to support daily material handling, inventory accuracy, and safe forklift operations in a fast-paced facility. You will receive, store, issue, and ship materials, and maintain records in inventory systems with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least five years in warehouse/logistics, with proven forklift experience and the ability to follow work instructions and read shipping documents precisely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material handling experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Basic PC skills and experience with warehouse transactions and inventory systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material handling.
• Ability to perform basic math and inventory-related tasks.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials in accordance with operational requirements.
• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight safely and efficiently.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products and materials.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities.
• Reading and interpreting work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and operational procedures.
• Preparing materials for shipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Performing routine warehouse transactions using inventory management systems and basic PC applications.
• Supporting cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation activities.
• Ensuring warehouse areas are organized, clean, and maintained in accordance with safety requirements.
• Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support operational and customer requirements.
