Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Ohio seeks a warehouse associate responsible for moving raw materials, finished goods and equipment on the warehouse floor using a forklift, with crane/hoist assist as needed.

This 2nd shift role requires safety-mindedness, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, basic math, and the ability to read and write English. Responsibilities include stocking, order picking, cycle counts, and supporting ISO/6S initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English; French not required in US.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs for up to 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using a forklift.
• Load and unload trucks; verify items loaded.
• Pick, process and pack orders; cut orders on Kaltenbach saw when needed.
• Complete cycle counts.
• Identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions.
• Perform general cleaning and inspect forklift at shift start.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
• Assist in other duties as requested by supervisor or team lead.
