Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a Forklift Operator in Springfield, MA to transport freight from receiving to inventory and replenish pick slots. The role requires operating a forklift and pallet jack, inspecting items, and recording data in RF units. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday 7:00 am–4:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, batching and stocking tasks, and end-of-shift wrap-up. Must have a high school diploma or GED and prior forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prepare supplies for operations.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Operate forklift to move incoming freight to inventory and stock slots.
• Record product data and locations in RF unit.
• Replenish pick slots and rotate stock as needed.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment.
