Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a PFG broadline distributor, seeks a Forklift Operator to move incoming freight from receiving to inventory, stock pick slots, and support safe, GMP-compliant operations in our Springfield warehouse.

You will follow safety policies, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform equipment checks, and complete paperwork. Schedule: Sunday 4:30pm - close; Monday-Thursday 5:30pm - close; hours may vary based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• 6+ months experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack.
• HiLo forklift experience is a plus; backup backhaul receiver experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and prepare supplies for operations.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Transport incoming freight from receiving to inventory and replenish pick slots.
• Enter product data and location into RF unit; rotate stock as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping and complete paperwork at end of shift.
