Job summary

Medical Devices Company in Canaan, CT is seeking an Entry-Level Forklift Operator for a 12-month contract on a W2 basis. The role involves 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 7pm-7am) with a 40-hour week and pay rate of $25.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include safe material movement, RF scanning, and inventory control within the distribution center. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of forklift experience, and the ability to obtain certification quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE including high-reach, counterbalance, and pallet jacks.
• Use RF scanner and WMS to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Cross-train to support other areas when needed.

Job Description

• The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center.
• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
• Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required. Education and
