Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Redlands, CA is seeking an Entry Level Forklift Operator on a 12-month contract for the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with forklift certification obtainable, plus RF scanning and MHE handling.

The operator will load/unload shipments, ensure accuracy with WMS, and uphold safety standards while supporting other warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center.

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

• Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.
• Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.
• Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage.
• Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Must have slip-sheet operation experience
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.
• Proficient in the use of a PC.
• Strong initiative and drive for results.

• The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all.
• Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing.
