Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a safety‑minded forklift driver for our warehouse operations in California. You will load/unload freight, inspect equipment, and help maintain accurate inventory while upholding strict safety standards.

The role requires at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and successful completion of internal forklift certification training. Physical stamina for lifting up to 50–65 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to pass internal forklift certification training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to perform tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use and ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure forklift operation is safe and responsible at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
