Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is hiring a forklift driver for our Sacramento warehouse. You will be responsible for moving goods, loading trailers, and keeping accurate inventory while upholding safety standards.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying conditions. We value reliability and a commitment to safe material handling in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months forklift experience or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to pass internal forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.
• Able to perform tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure forklift operation is safe and responsible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
