Job summary

Reworld seeks a Waste Processing Technician I for our Sustainable Site Solutions division. You will operate forklifts, balers, and compactors to process waste materials at client facilities, while maintaining safety and site housekeeping.

You will support preventative maintenance, loading/unloading shipments, and coordinating with plant staff to meet local needs. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED preferred.
• 1+ year shipping/receiving experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Proficient with NetSuite.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklift trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or per vendor specs.
• General housekeeping of work areas.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance paperwork for equipment.
• Load/Unload of van trailers and/or flat beds.
• Manage collection points within a client facility.
• Coordinate with plant personnel to determine local needs.
