Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload, and move inventory using forklift equipment across the warehouse. You will follow work orders and supervisor directives to position stock and manage inventory movements.

Responsibilities include operating the fork truck, logging location changes, and assisting with order fulfillment while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and communicate effectively.
• Heavy capacity for truck experience preferred.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• Experience working with steel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to lift, move, position, and relocate steel and heavy materials.
• Load and unload trailers and/or railroad cars.
• Log and report inventory location changes in the inventory system or paperwork.
• Assemble customer orders according to work orders.
• Maintain safety compliance and ensure accuracy in tasks.
• Work with multiple warehouse areas and coworkers to complete tasks.
