Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a warehouse associate in Northern Kentucky. You will safely operate forklifts to load/unload, move, stage and pull orders, and transport materials. Maintain a clean, organized work area and cooperate with supervisors to complete daily workload.

Read tickets and product codes, and accurately pull orders with attention to detail. Qualified candidates have at least one year of warehouse experience; high school diploma; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Prior lumber experience desired.
• Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to complete tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material; band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintain the warehouse area in good condition, with product in correct location and floors swept.
• Work cooperatively with Supervisors and other employees to complete workload.
• Provide accurate service to customers with attention to detail and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy, and track and trace issues.
• Read tickets and product codes; read a tape measure; accurately pull daily orders.
