Fortune Brands Innovations in Kentucky is seeking a forklift operator to support production lines by moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and operating RF/barcode equipment. You will maintain inventory accuracy, follow safety procedures, and assist with order filling as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years forklift and shipping experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, plus flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years forklift experience.
• 1-3 years experience in loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience in a fast pace manufacturing/shipping environment.
• Ability to operate computers and radio frequency bar code equipment.
• Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to move materials to production floor and routers.
• Removes finished products from the lines and routers.
• Removes goods from the shrink wrap area to the yard.
• Hangs bags of raw materials for extruders.
• Clears out trash boxes and waste, scrap, and cut boards.
• Weighs up scrap and maintains proper paperwork for end of shifts.
• Keeps warehouse and storage areas neat and clean, including outside dumpster pad.
• Maintains proper inventory by using correct scanning procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
