Job summary

RR Donnelley in Wisconsin is seeking a forklift operator for 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday with some weekends and overtime as needed. You will move finished product for shipping or storage and supply the Manufacturing Department with materials.

The role requires knowledge of forklift dimensions, safe operation in tight spaces, daily inspections, housekeeping, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of forklift dimensions and load capacities.
• Ability to navigate tight aisles and doors for placement.
• Understanding of storage area layouts for item placement.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and report needs.
• Awareness of safety policies including PPE and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory of items.
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products.
• Empties trash hoppers and performs housekeeping duties.
• Performs daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• May include battery service such as inspecting, recharging, replacing batteries.
• May include changing LP/Propane.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects.
