Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a warehouse forklift operator to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will handle material movement using forklifts, RF scanners, and WMS tools, while ensuring accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

Responsible for operating power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers.Salary: $22.00 HourEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.Possesses full knowledge of all forklift functions within the warehouse to include all outbound,inbound, and inventory functions.Executes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.Full knowledge of RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill role and responsibilities within inbound and outbound functions.Maintains inventory accuracy.Handles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.Completes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.Certification on powered industrial trucks sit down, dock stocker and powered pallet jacks.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 40 pounds.Performs activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.Performs other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred but not requiredWork Experience: 2+ years of proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environmentKey Skills and CompetenciesProficiency in operating all industrial forklifts within the facilityAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Knowledge of multiple area of functional responsibility (inbound, outbound forklift roles)Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibilityCertification in operating various type of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks) is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer:Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.
