Forklift Operator Seasonal

Job Locations: US-PA-Denver

Blue Rhino Propane is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Operator to inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position includes in-house OSHA certified training.

Responsibilities:

• Transport propane cylinders safely around the yard using a forklift.
• Handle and maintain flow of materials and products adhering to safety guidelines.
• Work may require evening hours and weekends as needed.
• Complete and submit log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and other paperwork.
• Document forklift inspections before shifts for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect vehicle regularly and notify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist with other staffing needs when not operating a forklift.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training and exams
• Preferred 1+ years of work experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions
• Commitment to providing superior customer service
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
• No sponsorship required for employment visas now or in the future.
