Blue Rhino Propane is looking for a Seasonal Forklift Operator to join the team! The Forklift Operator is responsible for inspecting and transporting propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position offers in-house OSHA certified training.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane cylinders safely around the yard using a forklift.
• Handle and maintain flow of materials and products following safety guidelines.
• Work hours may include evenings and weekends as needed.
• Complete and submit log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and other paperwork.
• Document forklift inspections before shifts for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Regularly inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist with other duties as assigned, including supporting production shifts when not operating the forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training and exams.
• Preferred 1+ years of work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future.
