Qualifications

• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
• Ability to effectively work in teams
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
• Ability to detect and respond to visual and audible safety warnings, including moving equipment, forklift horns, alarms, and warning lights, to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work with plant management for required results
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods or materials to designated areas
• Move pallets of goods for in-process jobs to appropriate areas
• Place finished goods on designated pallets in correct locations
• Accurately complete forklift operator’s checklist
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Conduct a physical inventory of all corrugated materials via daily cycle counts
• Perform daily inventory audits as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to designated areas
• Assist supervisors on the production floor to maintain safety
• Perform all functions accurately as required in the WMS system
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
