Job summary
Leggett & Platt is seeking a forklift/operator loader in Morris, IL to follow loading diagrams, load trailers, and coordinate with the shipping team. You will unload/store raw materials, resolve count discrepancies, and alert on unsafe conditions while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications
- Follow loading diagram and instructions from Shipping Lead.
- Identify products, roll amounts and loading order for truck loading.
- Resolve count discrepancies with Shipping Lead.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Follow safe loading/unloading procedures with forklift.
- Complete daily forklift checklist and report issues.
Responsibilities
- Unload and store raw materials and supplies in designated area.
- Alert Shipping Lead of damaged or incorrect shipments.
- Maintain clean work area and free of hazards.
- Identify and record problems related to product, process and quality system.
- Control nonconforming product until corrected.
