Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners at our Anaheim facility.

You will load/unload freight, assemble orders, and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage. The role requires adherence to OSHA safety standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to meet production standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using approved equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, and check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation.
• Operate equipment per OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
